SEC Reporting Analyst
Career GuideKey Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Form 10-Q and Form 10-K
- Draft and update financial statement footnotes and management discussion content
- Support the earnings release process and related reporting materials
- Maintain SEC reporting calendars and manage close and filing deadlines
- Coordinate inputs from accounting, finance, legal, investor relations, tax, and operations teams
- Tie out reported numbers to the general ledger and supporting schedules
- Support external auditors with documentation, evidence requests, and review comments
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and reporting rules and assess impacts
- Help maintain disclosure controls and reporting processes
- Support XBRL tagging and filing logistics
- Participate in technical accounting research and documentation
- Improve templates, checklists, and workflows to reduce errors and rework
