Key Responsibilities

Plan daily priorities for the produce area and assign tasks to team members
Receive produce deliveries and verify quality, temperature, and counts
Rotate stock using first in first out practices to reduce spoilage
Maintain clean, safe, and organized displays and storage areas
Set up merchandising displays to support promotions and seasonal items
Monitor inventory levels and place orders based on sales trends and shelf needs
Track shrink and waste and take actions to improve freshness and reduce loss
Coach and train staff on product handling, customer service, and safety
Resolve customer questions and complaints with a service focused approach
Follow food safety rules and complete required logs and checks
Coordinate with store management and other departments on staffing and priorities
Support opening and closing routines, including cash handling where applicable
