Key Responsibilities

Assist with transferring and positioning the deceased using safe handling practices
Support basic preparation tasks such as washing, dressing, and setting features under supervision
Help set up viewing areas and preparation rooms
Maintain cleanliness of preparation areas and equipment
Follow infection control and personal protective equipment procedures
Track identification, labels, and chain of custody steps
Receive and log incoming remains and personal effects
