A Method Validation Manager leads the testing and documentation needed to prove that laboratory methods produce accurate, reliable, and repeatable results. This role is common in regulated environments such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, food, and chemicals, where results must stand up to audits and product release decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Own the method validation strategy for new and existing analytical methods
Plan validation studies including scope, timelines, and resourcing
Set acceptance criteria and ensure they align with internal quality standards
Review and approve validation protocols, reports, and method procedures
Troubleshoot method performance issues and drive root cause investigations
Ensure data integrity and strong documentation practices across the team
Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, and Research teams to support product lifecycle needs
Support audits and inspections by preparing evidence and responding to findings
Coach analysts and scientists on validation best practices
Track metrics and continuously improve validation efficiency and compliance
