Key Responsibilities

Read work instructions, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings
Measure, cut, and label wire and cable to specified lengths
Strip wire insulation without damaging conductors
Crimp terminals and contacts to meet pull strength requirements
Solder connections when required by the build standard
Install connectors, backshells, boots, and strain relief components
Apply heat shrink and protective sleeving for insulation and durability
Route and bundle wires using ties and lacing for clean builds
Perform continuity checks and basic electrical tests
Inspect assemblies for workmanship, polarity, and correct pinouts
Document work completed and record test results
Follow safety procedures and handle tools and materials properly
